Wow! This year is flying by…

This term we have had so much fun!

We have written a tale of fear and an explanation text. We have thoroughly enjoyed our High Quality Texts - ‘The Lost Thing’ and ‘Varjak Paw’.

In Maths, we have been working extremely hard on our reasoning and problem solving skills. We have looked at the area and perimeter of shapes. As well as, fractions, decimals and percentages! We’ve even put our knowledge to the test on World Maths Day2024, researching the best way to remodel our classroom.

We have been immersed in our learning about the Transatlantic Slave Trade, alongside learning more about East Anglia and contrastingly Australia!

In science, we have thoroughly enjoyed looking at forces. We have studied what forces are, how they influence day to day life and how we can use forces to help us! Lots of fun scientific investigations which we all enjoyed completing.

We have been lucky enough to also take part in this term, a trip to Pensthorpe, Schools Make Music, West End Musicals Book Day, ProStrike and many more exciting times!
